Gyle 012 – All These Things That I’ve Done

Our final brew of 2017, a simple IPA to use up the left over hops in our freezer and to try out a new strain of yeast.

 

MALT:

Maris Otter  – 4.5kg

Crisp Cara Malt – 500g

 

HOPS:

Saaz – 13g / 60 minutes

Sorachi Ace – 5g / 60 minutes

Hallertauer Mittelfrüh – 13g / 30 minutes

Columbus – 15g /10 minutes

Cascade – 87g / Dry Hop

 

ADJUNCTS: None

YEAST: Mangrove Jacks M44 West Coast Yeast

 

OG: 1.062

FG: 1.010

ABV: 6.83%

MASH: 65°C / 75 minutes, raise to 75ºC mash out and hold for 10 minutes

BOIL: 60 minutes

CARBONATION: 2.0 units
