A simple bitter to test out our brand new brewery set-up. Same grain as previously but with Northern Brewer hops and skipping the mash out step.

MALT:

Crisp Finest Maris Otter Pale – 3kg

Crisp Medium Crystal (EBC 225-265) – 200g

Crisp Wheat Malt – 200g

HOPS:

Northern Brewer – 40g / 60 minutes

Northern Brewer – 30g / 30 minutes

Northern Brewer – 30g / 5 minutes

ADJUNCTS: 1x Campden tablet, 8.9g Calcium Sulphate

YEAST: Safale US-04

STRIKE VOLUME:  27.9 litres

OG: 1.043

FG: 1.008

ABV: 4.6%

MASH: 65°C / 60 minutes

BOIL: 60 minutes

CARBONATION: 2.0 units
