First in our single hop IPA series. Back to our old malt recipe but featuring a new hop for us – Idaho 7.

MALT:

Crisp Finest Maris Otter Pale Ale (EBC 5.0-7.0) – 7.2kg

Crisp Cara Malt (EBC 23-32) – 640g

HOPS:

Idaho 7 – 10g / 60 minutes

Idaho 7 – 30g / 30 minutes

Idaho 7 – 60g / 15 minutes

Idaho 7 – 100g / 5 minutes

Idaho 7 – 200g / Dry Hop for 48 hours

TARGET VOLUME: 30 litres

STRIKE VOLUME: 42 litres @ 70°C

SPARGE VOLUME: 0 litres

FERMENTER VOLUME: 30 litres

PACKAGED VOLUME: 68x 330ml bottles

ADJUNCTS: 1x Campden tablet, 1x Protofloc tablet

MASH: 68°C / 60 minutes

BOIL: 60 minutes

YEAST: 2x Mangrove Jacks M44

FERMENTER TEMP: 20°C

OG: 1.053

FG: 1.010

ABV: 5.6%

CARBONATION: 2.0 units
