BREWING NOTES: Couldn’t mash all the grain for this one! 10kg into 46.3 litres is the absolute limit for our 40 litre batches. Realised I hadn’t ordered enough hops so I raided the freezer for some Simcoe and then totally messed up the timings and had to improvise. Original plan was to make a WLP066 yeast starter but this changed to the mixed fermentation. Fermenter volume was exactly 40 litres. First time using our new glycol chiller.
